About me
Stephanie Darakjian has been a thespian since she was a little girl. Being inspired by her mother, aunt, and uncle who have written and directed their own one act plays, and performed their whole lives in Beirut, Lebanon.
After performing off-broadway, Stephanie was scouted out by Abrams Artists Agency one of the top agencies in NYC. That is when her theater training quickly moved into Film/TV. Studying at schools like Stella Adler, The New York Film Academy of Dramatic Arts, Academy of Dramatic Arts, Tisch School of The Arts, Upright Citizens Brigade Theater
Living 30 minutes from the Big Apple in Bergen, County New Jersey, Stephanie's mother was able to take her out of high school classes to audition for national commercials & music videos, Landing lead roles for McDonalds with director Joe Pytka, Super Bowl spots for Anti-Terror, Anti-Smoking, Comedy Central, N Network, MTV, Cafe Latte with Natalie Portman, Jesse McCartney Music Video, Counting Crows music video, and print work for X-box, Maxim Magazine to name a few. After booking a guest star role on NBC's Dick Wolfs "Conviction", Stephanie decided to continue her career in Los Angeles, California.
After working with numerous comedy shows including College Humor sketches, CollegeCooking network, MTV's Scrim and seeing how much fun it is to work on comedy sets, she decided to focus and tackle women in comedy. Now taking classes at Groundlings, she is looking to conquer the Los Angeles comedy world and booking more TV shows.
